3663 SUPPLIERS' AREA PRODUCT RANGES
3663 stocks three types of products:
3663 Own Brands: Chef's Smart Choice, Smart Choice Professional, Coronet, Springbourne & Whites Brands
3663 own brand products offer an alternative to manufacturers' branded products. They are manufactured on our behalf to strict quality standards by third parties and appear in our published sales brochures. They are available to all customers.
Manufacturers Branded Products Sourced by 3663
These products are sourced by 3663’s Buying Department from reputable suppliers and are available to all customers. These products fall into different categories:
- on- list (or core range) products - featured in our published sales brochures.
- off-list products - not included in our published sales brochures, but are available to all customers.
Customer Sourced Products
Many National and Regional Customers have direct links with manufacturers and purchase specific products for use within their own outlets. These may be manufacturers’ branded or end-user specific e.g. customer branded (or signature/bespoke) products. All customer sourced products do not appear in the sales brochure and are only available to the specific customer.
In these cases 3663 is contracted to act as stockist and to provide local distribution to individual outlets within the customer’s organisation. Such products are not made available to all customers. These products remain the joint responsibility of the nominated customer and the product supplier. This responsibility includes product pricing, supply availability and clearance of any discontinued stock. Customer-sourced products are only stocked by 3663 under strict additional conditions, including underwriting of stock by the supplier (full details are in the Supply Chain Manual, available in the password protected section of the website).
